Doane and Farms.com Form Marketing Alliance

(ST. LOUIS, Mo, November 23, 2001) Doane Agricultural Services and Farms.com Ltd. have formed an alliance to market and develop a new agricultural careers Web site, called www.CareersInAg.com.

"The new site will combine both companies' resources to build the leading careers site in agriculture. Farms.com will provide its leading agcareers technology platform, content and Web site traffic. We are excited about this new Doane business and marketing initiative, which will make the new site the best place to recruit or search the largest number of ag job postings." says Joe Dales, vice president of Farms.com Ltd.

Doane Agricultural Services will market CareersInAg.com to the U.S. agribusiness sector, directing traffic from its various Web sites, including www.doane.com, agrimarketing.com, cropdecisions.com and agretailer.com, plus other partner's sites. "The CareersInAg.com site will provide employers with a tool to find qualified candidates through searchable resume databases, and will provide job seekers numerous, diversified postings in agriculture" according to Dick Stiltz, vice president of Doane and its eSolutions group. The CareersInAg.com initiative will be co-directed by Stiltz and Bill Schuermann, vice president and group publisher of Doane.

"Our vision is to partner with members of the food and fiber industry to attract and locate the most qualified applicants available to the agriculture sector," says Schuermann. "Though the economy suggests a slowdown in hiring, agribusinesses continually express the need to efficiently find the best people available. CareersInAg.com will help answer this need for companies ranging from rural businesses to multi-national corporations."

CareersInAg.com launch date is targeted no later than January 1, 2002.
