THE FARMS.COM FAMILY CONTINUES TO GROW
Clinton, NC – Farms.com is proud to announce three new team members to its family of companies. Warren Perry will join M&F Trading on April 4, as Livestock Trader Specialist, and Ashley Warlick will join AgCareers.com beginning June 1 as Central U.S. Account Manager. Last December, Mary Barefoot also joined AgCareers.com as Operations and Sales Support Coordinator.
Upon joining M&F Trading, Warren Perry will be responsible for identifying sources for feeder pigs, early weans and market hogs and then marketing each product to the best advantage for both the buyer and seller. His focus will be new business development opportunities along the Eastern Seaboard and with large integrated systems throughout the United States. He will be located in the Farms.com office in Clinton, North Carolina. Perry began his career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He then spent nine years with Murphy Family Farms where his responsibilities included coordinating logistics, feeder pig sales and market sales. Most recently, he was employed with First Citizens Bank. Perry is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.

Joining AgCareers.com, Ashley Warlick will take on the majority of the sales responsibilities of the current Central U.S. Accounts Manager, Erika Brandt, in order for her to continue marketing and communication efforts for AgCareers.com. Warlick will be located in the Farms.com office in Ames, Iowa. She has previous experience with AgCareers.com, having served as Website and College Relations Coordinator Intern this past summer. She will graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Extension Education in May 2005.
Due to continual business growth, AgCareers.com hired Mary Barefoot last December to assist the sales team, handle finances and work on special projects assigned by the team. Barefoot previously worked for Prestage Farms Inc. and Triple M Incorporated, while working on her degree. She will graduate in May 2005 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
