Agstar Hog Blog: Hog Profits May Spur Expansion Talks

Will pork expansion begin soon? Because we are still experiencing historic high hog prices and export demand, consumers think the hog industry may expand now. As AgStar's Mark Greenwood points out in the hog blog, expansion talks will not occur until profits are made. However, with disposable income and the global economy on the rise, we may see profits towards the end of the year and into 2015 prompting those talks then.
