Farmers Visit GYPSOIL Production Facility.

No-Till Farmers and Agricultural Leaders Tour GYPSOIL Production Facility

Springfield, IL, (AgPR), The GYPSOIL Division (www.gypsoil.com) of Beneficial Reuse Management LLC, sponsored a recent tour at the City Water, Light & Power (CWLP) Dallman Power Station, Springfield, IL.  The tour was held in conjunction with the National No Tillage Conference held January 15-18 in Springfield.  Approximately 90 farmers and agricultural leaders participated in the tour.

GYPSOIL is the exclusive distributor of agricultural gypsum produced at the CWLP facility. GYPSOIL is 13-16 percent sulfate sulfur and 17-20 percent calcium on a dry weight basis.

Tour participants saw firsthand how high-purity, flue gas desulfurization gypsum is produced in the state-of-the-art wet scrubbers used at CWLP to clean air emissions.
