4 CANADA'S FARM SHOW 2025 Regina, SK | Presented by Viterra DARYL HARRISON, Minister of Agriculture On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to the 47th annual Canada’s Farm Show. Every year, Canada’s Farm Show brings together the best and brightest in agriculture, providing a vital platform to profile Saskatchewan’s vibrant and flourishing sector to local and global audiences. It’s an important opportunity for producers, agricultural equipment manufacturers and international buyers to connect and explore the latest advancements in the industry. Canada’s Farm Show is founded on the principles of innovation, education and collaboration. These values come to life through the diverse exhibits and demonstrations on display. Like Saskatchewan producers, the Show has demonstrated its commitment to growth and innovation over the decades, evolving with the industry it serves. In 2025, you will see groundbreaking agricultural technology from the latest air seeders to drones guided by precision AI that were daydreams only a decade ago. Many groundbreaking ideas have been unveiled here over the years, and I am confident this year will be no exception. In terms of education and collaboration, the Show is partnering with important organizations such as Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmers and Ag in the Classroom to recognize the next generation of producers and to help educate the public on the role of agriculture in their lives. As a long-time cattle producer, I have watched this industry transform over the years and been a part of its growth. I was honoured to be appointed your Minister in November 2024 and look forward to working with you to help the industry grow in this decade and into the next. Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan for 2030 has set several ambitious targets for our sector – many of which have already been achieved. For instance, in 2023, we exceeded our $20 billion agri-food exports target, achieving a record $20.2 billion. This success is a testament to the hard work of producers and the industry as a whole. Saskatchewan agriculture is resilient. Our producers face challenges such as unpredictable weather, pests and market fluctuations, all while producing some of the most sustainable food in the world. This is made possible through the adoption of innovative technologies and researchbased production practices, many of which are showcased at Canada’s Farm Show each year. Thank you to everyone who helps make this world-class event a reality. Welcome, and best wishes for another productive and successful show. WELCOME TO CANADA’S FARM SHOW REGINA, SK SCOTT MOE, Premier of Saskatchewan On behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Canada’s Farm Show. Since 1977, Canada’s Farm Show has been instrumental in highlighting what agriculture means to our province and what Saskatchewan agriculture means to the world we feed. It is astounding that our province of 1.2 million people is the world’s largest exporter of dry peas, lentils, durum, canola oil, canary seed, mustard and oats. We are also the birthplace of dryland farming technological innovations that have revolutionized farming across the globe. Most certainly, this show provides the opportunity to celebrate our achievements and to answer the question of “what is next.” This industry is an important economic engine for our province in terms of jobs and exports. Its commitment to growth and innovation is driving the search for solutions to the challenges of tomorrow. Saskatchewan is internationally recognized as a source of high-quality, agri-food products that are safe and sustainable. The thousands of visitors attending this event will see exactly what that looks like, right here in one of the world’s most productive and competitive agricultural regions. Congratulations to the organizers, exhibitors and sponsors for once again presenting a world-class event that helps producers connect with each other, see the latest in agricultural equipment and technology, and connect with international buyers. Whether you are a producer, equipment manufacturer, supplier or buyer, I am confident you will have an enjoyable and productive experience at Canada’s Farm Show. Thank you for being part of it.

6 CANADA'S FARM SHOW 2025 Regina, SK | Presented by Viterra WELCOME TO CANADA’S FARM SHOW REGINA, SK It’s a New Year, New Show, and New Reasons to Attend! We’re bringing fresh opportunities and exciting changes to Canada’s Farm Show (CFS) in Regina, Saskatchewan, presented by Viterra and I’m thrilled to extend a warm welcome to everyone joining us. For the first time in the show’s 47-year history, it is being held in March. After speaking with industry leaders, farmers, and those involved in previous shows, we determined this was an important change. We’ve reinvigorated the show with new features and events at a period where we can attract farmers and host under-represented industries. ‘The Launchpad’ presented by Deloitte will be the location for several events, including the Thank You Farmers Pancake Breakfast presented by O&T Farms, Harvest Academy presented by Bushel Plus, and Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmers Luncheon and Awards. Saskatchewan’s rich agricultural heritage is deeply woven into the fabric of REAL. What stands today as the District began in 1884 as a modest gathering of community-driven individuals exchanging goods, knowledge, and experiences. That ingenuity and spirit remains strong. CFS has grown from its inaugural fair into a dynamic celebration of community, fostering innovation, education, and collaboration. Premier Scott Moe will kick off the breakfast along with welcome remarks from Dave Belof, Saskatchewan Marketplace Leader, Deloitte, as the sponsor of the Launch Pad. And there is so much more through the show, including: • Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmer Awards recognizing exceptional young farmers in the province by celebrating their leadership, innovation, and contributions to the future of farming. • Launch Your Career in Ag, presented in partnership with the Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada, back by popular demand. This event offers a platform for prospective employers to engage with individuals seeking to embark on a career in the agricultural industry. • thinkAG Career Expo, hosted by Ag in the Classroom Saskatchewan. It’s an interactive program designed to inspire the next generation of agricultural professionals. Over 200 students from schools in Regina and surrounding communities will be learning from participating exhibitors and sponsors about the career pathways that exist for them. • The Harvest Academy presented by Bushel Plus. This is a hands-on educational session created to equip you with practical strategies to fine-tune your equipment, boost harvest efficiency and maximize profitability. We’re excited to welcome back familiar faces and introduce new exhibitors to our attendees. A heartfelt thank you to our exhibitors for their ongoing investment in our event and for showcasing the latest products and services, which form the very foundation of the CFS. A big thank you to our generous sponsors. Without your continued support and confidence in CFS, we wouldn’t be able to carry on the traditions and opportunities from years past, serving famers and the agricultural industry. I also want to extend my personal gratitude to every attending farmer, as well as to the dedicated REAL staff and volunteers who will be your hosts for the event. I hope you thoroughly enjoy this year’s revamped CFS! I look forward to meeting and connecting with many of you throughout the duration of the show. ROBERTA ENGEL, Acting President and CEO of REAL

Wherever you see Brandt, you’ll see their commitment to growing and strengthening the communities where their customers and employees live and work. That’s true community partnership.
28 CANADA'S FARM SHOW 2025 Regina, SK | Presented by Viterra THE INNOVATOR PROGRAM CELEBRATES CREATIVITY & DRIVE Passionate. Creative. Dedicated. These are words that are often used to describe innovators. Innovators like the farmer who created a new piece of equipment to solve a harvest problem. Or the tech founder who developed a new app to protect livestock and humans from disease threats. Or the teacher with a farm background who designed a program to increase food literacy in an urban school very far from the farm. And that is why Canada’s Farm Show Regina, SK, presented by Viterra has introduced the Innovator Program, presented in partnership with Farms.com and Greenwave Innovations. The Innovator Program at CFS shifts the focus from the innovations to the innovators themselves. As the agricultural community gathers at CFS to prepare for the upcoming growing season, these innovations are an inspiration - not only through their achievements, but their collaborative spirits, knowledge sharing, and the mentorship they provide among their peers. The Innovator Program consists of four categories: • Emerging Innovator: Recognizes an up-and-coming innovator who has made significant contributions to innovation in their field. • Lifetime Innovator: Celebrates a veteran innovator whose long-standing contributions have advanced the agricultural industry over the years. • Farmer Innovator: Celebrates a farmer who adopts new technologies on their farm. • Community Innovator: Acknowledges an innovator who has made a positive impact on their local community through agricultural initiatives, education, or outreach. The Innovators Program seeks to create a lasting impact on the future of farming by recognizing the invaluable contributions of those dedicated to advancing the agricultural community and who will continue to do so. The agricultural industry will continue to rely on the passion, determination and hard work of innovators as we strive to do more with less and feed our world’s growing population. We need the brightest minds continuing to collaborate to get the most from our land, while ensuring that we keep sustainability top of mind in making progress. Each innovator will be recognized and honoured on Monday, March 17 during Canada’s Farm Show Welcome Reception. We’re thrilled you could attend #CFS2025 as you prepare for the growing season. To keep up to date with activities and events, download the #CFS2025 app. It’s free and available for iOS and Android. Visit our website at www.canadasfarmshowreginask.ca
