AEM Establishes Youth Industry Engagement Council to Support, Promote Ag

According to a news update issued by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) today, during Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week, the association has established a Youth Industry Engagement Council to help identify and prioritize engagement opportunities with various youth organizations. The Council will be led by AEM Ag Services Manager Trevor Calewart, according to the Feb. 20 announcement.

The AEM statement also noted that there’s no overstating AEM’s commitment to supporting farmers and agriculture equipment end users alike, which is why the association is diligently working to champion the efforts of groups like FFA, the Agriculture Future of America (AFA), and 4-H, as well as build upon its legacy of advancing the future of ag.

“We are excited to launch this council to bring our members together and discuss the great work being done with the next generation of leaders in our industry. This council will work toward greater industry involvement and active participation with youth organizations, which grow businesses now and in the future,” said Calewart.
