04 Ag Leader is supporting farmers in the cab through two new display units. The InCommand Go 10 and 16 feature 10- and 16-inch displays, respectively, and have been upgraded to improve and simplify the user experience. “We’ve got fundamentally new hardware, new graphics, improved mapping features, and a better user interface on both of these displays,” Logan Handsaker, a product sales specialist with Ag Leader, told Farms.com Precision Ag Digital Digest. Customers who purchase the InCommand Go 16 receive the hardware, a cellular modem, to connect to the display . The cellular modem is an optional purchase for the InCommand Go 10. Both displays are equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities to support customers who want to bring their own cellular hotspot into the cab for internet connectivity. “Our new cellular module directly connects to the display, so customers can easily stay connected to their operation when they move the display from vehicle to vehicle, which has a lot of value for our customers,” Handsaker said. Connecting the display to the internet and Ag Leader’s cloud-based data platform, AgFiniti, allows farmers to take advantage of additional features like DisplayCast, CartAce, and Remote Support. New for the InCommand Go 10 is some basic planting functionality. This includes clutches, hydraulic rate control, planter monitoring and variety tracking. “We’ve added more features to the InCommand Go 10 to fit the operations that want a more basic solution on the planter, but also want to put the display in the combine for yield monitoring,” Handsaker said. “The feature set of the InCommand Go 10 is a great opportunity for those operations to experience the fullfarm solution that they can add to as their needs grow.” For producers who choose the InCommand Go displays, not only will they be getting a larger screen, but they’ll be getting more functionality out of it.
