The 2006 movie, Faith Like Potatoes, follows the story of Angus Bachman, a Zambian farmer of Scottish decent. Bachman leaves his farm to start a better life in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. After he discovers religion, and against the advice of many, Buchan decides to plant a potato crop. He believes God will help deliver a bountiful harvest.
