Kelcey Cockrell, Product Marketing Manager at Kubota Tractor Corporation, talked with Farms.com about new products that Kubota has been eagerly introducing to farmers in 2020. The visit covered two new tractor lineups, which compliments Kubota’s compact tractor portfolio: the MX Series and LX Series.

The Kubota MX Series is a crossover between Kubota’s compact and utility segments. While the MX Series has been around for some time, new this year is a factory installed cab.

“In terms of comfort, the new factory-installed cab can be loaded up with several optional accessories and can be customized to fit your needs,” explained Cockrell.

This is a great tractor for someone who is looking for the maneuverability of a compact tractor but is also in need of something that has the power of a mid-sized tractor.

“The MX Series has always been known for its affordability and versatility – especially being that crossover between compact and utility,” added Cockrell. “Now, we’re bringing year around comfort to the market as well.”

The MX Series is equipped with 2WD or 4WD, gear-drive or HST transmission, 48-63.4 HP, LA1065 loader with a 2,200 lb lift capacity, customizable cab accessories, tight turning radius, as well as a category I and II 3-point hitch.

Cockrell also introduced the new Kubota LX Series of tractors. This new series is a crossover between the Kubota B Series and Kubota L Series, providing the maneuverability of the B Series with the power and functionality of the L Series.

“We offer two different model options, the 24.8 HP and 30.8 HP. This Series really encompasses comfort, quality and versatility,” said Cockrell.

The LX Series is available with either a factory-installed cab with heat and A/C or ROPS, LED working lights, deluxe seat, tilt steering wheel, rubber floor mat and wide operator station.

“When it comes to deluxe features, this cab really has it all,” added Cockrell.

Quality is also a pillar of focus for Kubota, the LX Series is fitted with a Kubota diesel engine and HST 3-range transmission, includes a one-piece metal hood, metal fenders and platform, and has a modern sleek design.

“From front to rear the LX Series is Kubota built and that is something that we are very proud of,” stated Cockrell.

  • Kubota LA535 loader with self-levelling kit
  • R14T tires
  • Mid-mount mower (60” and 72” deck options)
  • Kubota BH77 backhoe
