An American couple hold the Guinness records for the largest and heaviest grapefruits.
Douglas and Mary Beth Meyer from Slidell, La., produced a grapefruit weighing 3.590 kg (7lbs. 14oz.). The same grapefruit also has a circumference of 73.02cm (28.75in).
Officials from Guinness confirmed the records in January 2019.
