Zach Johnson, a fifth-generation farmer from Kensington, Minn., is known on YouTube as the Millennial Farmer.
He started his channel in April 2016 because of “the recent interest in food, combined with a large amount of misinformation,” his channel’s description says.
His videos document daily operations on his farm, answering questions about food production as well as his tours of other farms and industry shows.
Johnson’s mission is to become a national voice for the industry and to facilitate conversations between farmers and consumers.
Since joining YouTube, his 271 videos have more than 82 million views.
