It’s very likely the clothes you’re currently wearing contain some percentage of cotton. A 2010 Cotton Incorporated Retail Monitor survey showed that 68 percent of women’s clothing contains cotton and 85 percent of men’s clothing contain the fiber. And 75 percent of men’s clothing is 100 percent cotton, compared to only 40 percent of women’s clothing.
