Roycefield Road in rural New Jersey is known to some locals as Pig Lady Road.
The street’s unofficial name comes from the belief one can summon a woman with a pig’s head by chanting “pig lady” three times during the night.
Local stories suggest her father placed a pig’s head on her as a baby to hide her disfigurement. When her mother passed, the woman killed her father with an axe – the same one she uses to scare people today!
