Visitors of the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky., experienced something big when visiting the Fendt booth.

AGCO Corporation showed off the Fendt IDEAL 10T combine, which stands out from other combines for reasons other than its black paint job.

It is “the largest combine in the industry in North America,” Tyler Hillman, a product marketing specialist with AGCO, told Farms.com.

The combine boasts 790 maximum engine horsepower, a 485-bushel grain tank and is able to unload bushels at a rate of six bushels per second.

The IDEAL 10T’s track drive system is designed specifically for the IDEAL 10T combine.

It too is unique.

“It has the largest footprint in the industry to keep compaction at a minimum,” Hillman said.

One optional feature on the IDEAL 10T is IDEALdrive.

“It removes the steering wheel allowing the operator to see right out the front of the combine where all that crop is coming in,” Hillman said.

IDEALdrive also helps minimize operator fatigue and provides a better operating experience, Hillman added.

A team from Farms.com were among the 255,000 attendees to walk the 1.2 million square-feet of exhibit space between Feb. 16 and 19.
