New Soybean Yield Record Set Using BRANDT Technology

Alex Harrell from Smithville, Georgia, has once again set a new world record in soybean yield, reaching an impressive 218.2856 bushels per acre with the help of BRANDT's advanced nutritional technology.

This achievement tops his previous record of 206.8 bushels per acre set just last year, showcasing continuous advancements in agricultural practices.

BRANDT, a leader in the agricultural industry, provided its proprietary products, including BRANDT Smart Trio®, BRANDT Smart Quatro® Plus, and others, which were integral to Harrell’s success.

These products were applied following a meticulously crafted fertility program developed in collaboration with BRANDT experts and Harrell's crop consultant, ensuring nutrients were delivered at critical growth stages.

Harrell credits the consistent performance of BRANDT products for his achievements, highlighting their role in maintaining optimal nutrient levels.

The cornerstone of his strategy was the use of BRANDT’s innovative foliar nutrient line, the BRANDT® Smart System®, which promotes efficient micronutrient delivery and integrates well with other crop protection products.

Brian Haschemeyer, VP of Discovery & Innovation at BRANDT, emphasized the company’s commitment to helping growers achieve high yields and ensuring a good return on their investments.

Meanwhile, Rick Brandt, President and CEO of BRANDT, praised Harrell’s achievement as an extraordinary milestone in agricultural productivity, especially considering the average soybean yield reported by the USDA last year was less than 50 bushels per acre.

This record shows the potential of targeted agricultural technology and sets a new standard for soybean production globally.

Demco's dual auger grain cart is designed for unloading efficiency, operator visibility, and safety in the field.

This dual-auger design features both an unload auger and a floor auger for enhanced grain cleanout and consistent flow, and the 22-inch unload auger is capable of moving up to 600 bushels per minute.

Farmers can also choose between right or left-handed unload options—right-handed unload improves visibility from the tractor cab. A new design allows both vertical and horizontal movement for precise grain placement during unloading.

Another key feature is the built-in fire safety system; a 300-gallon onboard water tank with a hose reel that provides field-ready fire suppression capability.

These dual auger grain carts are available in 1100, 1300, 1500, 1700, and 2200 bushel sizes.
