Case IH AF Series Now Complete with New Models

Case IH has expanded its Axial-Flow combine offerings by introducing the new AF10 and AF9 models. These combines, built with advanced technology and designed to meet farmers' increasing demand for capacity, join the AF11 model launched earlier this year.

Farms.com recently met with Case IH’s Chris Lursen, harvesting marketing manager, to learn more about the new additions to the AF Series.

“We now have a combine for every producer,” says Lursen as he refers to Case IH’s total lineup of combines.

The AF10 and AF9 combines are built for high capacity, making them ideal for crops such as corn, soybeans, and small grains. These single rotor machines feature an improved threshing separation system, offering 50% more capacity than previous models.

The cleaning system has also received a major upgrade, with a 35% increase in size, allowing for greater productivity.

One of the standout features is the new spreading and residue system. The MagnaCut integral chopper delivers fine chopping, while the MagnaChop offers an extra level of precision.

The radars spread system adjusts automatically to ensure even distribution of residue, compensating for wind and varying conditions.

“The new radar sensor allows us to measure the distance we’re throwing and if we’re not meeting the distance we need, the spreader speed is adjusted to compensate for that—all automatically for the operator,” says Lursen.

The new AF series also introduces an updated header lineup, including the C500C capacity head. This head features a large auger that feeds evenly into the combine, improving the overall efficiency of the machine.

“A new synchronized feed system allows us to feed that rotor evenly and smoothly as well as improving the overall capacity of the combine,” Lursen adds.

With a 567-bushel grain tank and an impressive unload rate of six bushels per second, you can quickly and efficiently unload and keep productivity high in the field.

Case IH’s subscription-based technology includes AccuSync, which allows data sharing between machines, such as coverage maps and guidance lines. This technology helps you make informed decisions and improves farm management.

With larger grain tanks and powerful 12.9L and 15.9L engines, the new AF Series combines offer you the tools you need for successful harvests.
