An August 31 online auction held by BigIron Auctions was highlighted by a forage harvester selling for more than $125,000.

A 2008 Claas Jaguar 980 forage harvester from Greeley, Colorado sold for $125,750 after 163 bids.

Historically, the USDA December crop report is a non-event or another dud report as the USDA reserves any final supply changes to the final report in January of the following year in this case 2026.
