March 20 is the official first day of spring, and The Old Farmer’s Almanac released its Canadian forecast for Spring 2025.
Western Canada, parts of Ontario and Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador, will be warmer and wetter than usual, the forecast says.
Farmers in the Prairies can expect warmer than normal temperatures, “with precipitation less than normal in the east and greater than normal in the west,” the predictions say. “Expect a little snow in early April, as well as periodic thunderstorms in May.”
