Kubota Canada opens new facility in Pickering

Kubota Canada has invested $80 million in the coinstruction of its new Pickering, Ontario facility.

The official opening for Kubota Canada Ltd.'s new distributing facility and corporate offices in north Pickering was held on October 12, 2022.

Kubota Canada, founded in 1975, is a leading international manufacturer and distributor of tractors and ag-related vehicles and solutions.

The new 5000,000-square-foot facility is in the Pickering Innovation Corridor on Highway 7, west of Brougham, Ontario.

The company has invested $80 million in the construction of the facility, featuring 500,000 square feet of warehouse space for the vehicles, and 65,000 square feet for office, meeting, and training space over three floors.

Attending the event were Ontario Premier Doug Ford, several cabinet ministers, as well as federal and local government officials.

Kubota Canada has over 200 employees and 135+ dealers. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Osaka, Japan-headquartered, Kubota Corporation.
