A blue tractor sold for the highest price during a recent equipment auction.

During an Oct. 12 BigIron auction, a 2017 New Holland T8.410 MFWD tractor from Grants Pass, Ore., sold for US$146,002 (CAD$202,425) to a buyer from Nebraska after 249 bids.

Tractor specs: 52.4 hours, New Holland FPT, Cursor 9L, Diesel, Water Cooled Engine, Engine Oil Level Above Minimum, 178 Gal. A 2001 Challenger 85E tracked tractor from Milford, Neb., sold for US$86,270 (CAD$119,650) to a buyer from Kansas after 32 bids.

Two trucks were also among the top-selling items during the auction.

A 1999 Peterbilt 379 EXHD from Homer, Neb., sold for US$85,000 (CAD$117,955) to a buyer from North Carolina after 160 bids.
