South West Ag Partners Inc. of Chatham and Farms.com Risk Management of London are pleased to announce the formation of a strategic collaboration between their Ontario based businesses, their related principals and products.

The formal announcement of this partnership is being made on the opening day of the London Farm Show, March 4, 2015.  Information about the collaboration will be available during the show at the booths of Farms.com, South West Ag Partners and VERITAS.    (VERITAS is a division of South West Ag Partners.)

Brian Cofell is the Retail Grain Manager for South West Ag Partners and also manages their VeriMARK grain services division.  Moe Agostino is the Managing Commodity Strategist for Farms.com Risk Management.  Together, they feel that this collaboration strengthens the product and service offerings from each of their companies for the ultimate benefit of the farm customer.

“South West Ag Partners is continually striving to deliver the highest quality of grain market intelligence to our VeriMARK customers”, says Cofell.  “Moe is in a class of his own when it comes to understanding the markets and providing accurate insight and direction to farmers.  His track record of delivering top 20% or better pricing to his clients every year since 2007 speaks for itself.”  He adds that “to be the best, you have to work with the best, and with this collaboration we can say with utmost confidence to our customers that they will find no better one-on-one guidance or support service when it comes to marketing their grain than VeriMARK.  I hope our customers are as excited about this as we are.”

Agostino explains Farms.com Risk Management’s motivation to be part of this new collaboration by pointing out that “South West Ag Partners is a growing grain business with a unique, boots-on-the-ground origination model in VeriMARK.  He feels that “it’s a perfect relationship”.  “My grain markets expertise enhances their VeriMARK product, and their VeriMARK Team will help take my message to more Ontario producers.”

Customers of VeriMARK and VERITAS can expect to see Farms.com information integrated into the services they receive in the coming weeks. During the Farm Show, farmers can sign up for a free 8-week trial of the Farms.com Risk Management Classic Grain and/or Livestock Commodity Marketing Program via e-mail and text.
