Advanced Telehandlers for Livestock, Dairy, And Large Bale Operations

New Holland has launched updates to its TH Series Telehandlers, designed to enhance efficiency for livestock, dairy, and large bale farming operations.

These telehandlers provide advanced features to meet the growing demands of farmers.

Farms.com met with Lena Bioni, product marketing manager with New Holland, to explore these updates.

The TH Series offers two models: the 7.42 and the 9.35. The 7.42 model reaches 7 metres and lifts up to 4,200 kilograms, while the 9.35 model reaches 9 metres and lifts 3,500 kilograms.

Both units are powered by a 4-cylinder FPT engine and include a 6 forward gear, 3 reverse gear transmission. They can achieve speeds of up to 25 mph, making transport between fields fast and efficient.

The cab upgrades are designed for operator comfort and improved usability. A standout feature is the new 7-inch LCD display with a rear-view camera, now standard for all models.

Operators will also benefit from a shuttling lever integrated into the joystick, allowing smooth forward and reverse movements, particularly useful when moving bales.

The most notable addition is the Forklift Mode. This feature allows the telehandler to operate like a forklift by raising and lowering the carriage without manually adjusting the boom.

This simplifies operations, especially when handling loads. Operators can also set upper and lower height limits, ideal for working in confined spaces, such as barns, to avoid collisions with rafters or the floor.
