2020 Blue Book Guide to Herbicides Now Available

Alberta Agriculture says the 2020 update to its Blue Book is now available. Harry Brook, who's the co-editor says the publication includes information on newly registered pesticide products including herbicides, insecticides, seed treatments and foliar fungicides.

"We started getting more herbicide products, so we put them in one publication so that people could use that as a reference. It is kind of like a bible for producers and those who spray to give them a guide on what can be used on what crops. It is basically a compilation of the label recommendations but in a more readable system."

You can get more information about how to get your copy of the blue book by going to aginfocentre@gov.ab.ca.
