AFBF Convention 2024 - A gateway for young ag enthusiasts

The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) gears up for its 2024 National Convention under the captivating theme "New Frontiers." This year, there's an exciting opportunity for young agriculture enthusiasts as the AFBF collaborates with 4-H, FFA, and Junior MANRRS, offering them free registration.

David Townsend, Assistant Director of Member Engagement, explains why young minds should seize this unique opportunity. The partnership aligns seamlessly with the convention's theme, emphasizing the future of agriculture, food, and natural resources. It's a chance for attendees to explore the vast array of opportunities available within the Farm Bureau network.

A special Sunday schedule caters to youth interests, providing tailored programming. Townsend emphasizes the value of the convention experience for middle school and high school-aged members. It's an exceptional opportunity to get involved with Farm Bureau without the financial burden of a registration fee.

The complimentary youth registration covers the entire convention experience, including an exclusive Youth Leadership Program on January 21, featuring leadership development training and a youth-focused leadership luncheon.

Townsend underscores the importance of collaboration between the American Farm Bureau and youth organizations. Partnering with organizations that share the goal of nurturing young agricultural leaders is crucial. Such partnerships pave the way for addressing challenges and exploring opportunities in agriculture, food, and natural resources collectively.
