Area farmers learn about top-soil mapping, other innovations at Wilbur-Ellis Grower Meeting

“SoilOptix® soil mapping tool was the subject of a presentation given by Ryan DeMorrow, Wilbur-Ellis ag tech lead, at Wilbur-Ellis’ grower meeting.”

SoilOptix® Service Provider, Wilbur-Ellis, presented the technology to nearly 50 farmers on February 6th, 2024 in Sauder Village, Ohio. Wilbur-Ellis currently offers the soil mapping technology service at their locations in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. Growers in Ohio had the chance to learn about the technology and how it’s being used to create variable rate fertilizer and seed prescriptions.
