Avena Foods To Build New Facility In Saskatchewan

Avena Foods Limited is expanding its gluten-free oat processing operation.
 
The company announcing plans Thursday to build a new processing facility in Rowatt, Saskatchewan.
 
Construction on the new processing facility is expected to get underway this spring, with the opening planned for 2021.
 
Avena Foods is a processor of Purity Protocol gluten-free oats and was founded in 2008 by pedigreed seed farmers growing gluten-free oats for people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
