Rural Municipalities president Ray Orb says farmers need expanded internet and cell phone service.

“We’re making reference to broadband,” Orb said. “We want to make sure our members know that it is enhanced in Saskatchewan.”

Orb says business and information needs are important on the farm and an improved internet and cell phone service is essential.
