Changes For Sask Crop AGM's As All Meetings Go Virtual Only

Saskatchewan Crop Organizations making some last minute changes to their  2022 Annual General Meetings.

Based on new recommendations from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, all crop commodity meetings scheduled for this week are now only being held virtually.

This after Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Officer suggested residents refrain from gathering outside of the home.

Individuals that pre-registered for the meetings should check their email for the Zoom link which will cover all Annual General Meetings, Market Outlooks and Special Sessions.

The Canary Seed Development Commission of Saskatchewan officially kicks off Monday, January 10th at 8:30 am, followed by Sask Wheat at 11, The Wheat Market presentation at 12:30, the Pulse Market Outlook at 1:45 and wrapping things up is the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers AGM at 3 o'clock.

Any of the AGM's, market outlooks and special sessions that originally planned for inperson attendance as well have now been changed to virtual attendance only.

You can register for the presentations here https://www.saskcrops.com/register.

Dallas Carpenter is one of the organizers and says it's really important to have people participate in the meetings, especially for some smaller acreage crops.

"I really encourage people to register for Winter Cereals, Forage Seed, Canary Seed, and Mustard. Those smaller organizations, they always struggle to get quorum and to get people out. If people are out there, and they've grown those crops and paid a levy to those organizations, please, please, please register for those AGM's."

The full schedule for the Saskatchewan Crop Organization's AGM's and Market Outlook Sessions are available https://cropweek.com.
