First off today, we know many livestock producers are facing feed shortages and higher prices for feed this summer, and heading into winter. To find out what those hay and feed prices are doing, we’re joined in studio by Jason Wood, provincial livestock market analyst with Alberta Agriculture.

PRRS cost the U.S. swine industry an estimated $1.2 billion annually. What can managers and veterinarians do to minimize the risk in at a hog facility? Are there certain biosecurity protocols that help reduce the risk of this damaging virus infecting their herds?
