G-Mac and Cavalier Agrow Merge

Two long-standing crop input retailers in Saskatchewan are merging.
 
G-Mac has reached an agreement to merge with Cavalier Agrow Ltd.
 
Cavalier sells seed, chemical, inoculants, liquid fertilizer, and agronomic guidance.
 
Garth MacDonald, President and CEO of G-Mac’s AgTeam says once combined they will have 14 locations and 130 employees.
 
“You know all of our people live in the communities that they serve. So we can still maintain that small company attitude and community spirit and such that has made both of these organizations successful.”
 
Cavalier had four locations in Meadow Lake, Meota, Medstead, and Spiritwood.
 
G-Mac’s AgTeam has nine retail locations and one distribution centre throughout West-Central Saskatchewan, with the corporate head office at Kindersley.
