Hail Claims Down In Manitoba

The Canadian Crop Hail Association (CCHA) says claim activity in Manitoba is down somewhat this year compared to the 5-year average.

The most recent numbers show Manitoba with 1,300 claims.

In total, CCHA companies have received more than 10,000 claims across Alberta (2,000), Manitoba (1,300) and Saskatchewan (6,900). Claims are on a similar pace to 2018, which saw more than 11,000 filed by the end of the year. The hail season ends in October.
