Two corn blowers stolen valued at $50,000

HURON EAST — An investigation by the Huron County Provincial Police (OPP) is under way following a theft report involving two corn blowers valued at $50,000.

On Monday, February 12, 2024, Huron OPP received a report of a theft from a business address on Cardiff Road in the Municipality of Huron East. Police attended the site of the theft and began their investigation. Police discovered that sometime between February 9 and February 12, 2024, unknown culprit(s) attended the business property and stole the two corn blower machines, which would have been towed separately by a vehicle.

The corn blowers are described as follows:

Both “WALINGA” brand, green in colour.
