Jacob Massey - 2023 World Livestock Auctioneer Champion

United Producers, Inc. (UPI) proudly announces Jacob Massey's crowning achievement as the 2023 World Livestock Auctioneer at the revered World Livestock Auctioneer Championship, presented by the Livestock Marketing Association (LMA).  

Massey's remarkable auctioneering skills have earned him this prestigious title, and he now embarks on a journey to share his expertise with other livestock auction markets while serving as a spokesperson for the livestock marketing industry and LMA. 

Bill Tom, Executive Vice President of Livestock Marketing, expresses UPI's elation in witnessing Jacob's talent and dedication recognized with this esteemed award. Both UPI and the attendees of auctions at the Columbia and Fayetteville locations applaud Massey for his outstanding achievement. 

In 2007, Jacob Massey attended the North Georgia School of Auctioneering, laying the foundation for his future success. Presently residing in his hometown of Petersburg, Tenn., with his wife and four children, Massey is actively involved in his local church and takes on the role of a youth baseball coach. His deep-rooted passion for agriculture stems from a lifelong experience of working on a cattle farm. 

Serving over 30,000 members in states such as Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee, United Producers, Inc. handles approximately 2.5 million head of livestock annually.
