Maple Leaf Foods Taking Precautions Against COVID-19

Maple Leaf Foods say its taking precautions at its plants during the COVID 19 pandemic.

The company says it will continue the already strict safety and biosecurity policies it has as one of Canada's leading producers of meat, poultry and plant proteins.

Other steps it's taking include restricting visitors to its sites and forgoing in-person visits to customers, suppliers, producers and other business partners.

The company says it has self-quarantine measures in place and is maximizing social distancing for workers who can't work from home.
