MB Ag Hall of Fame Announces 2018 Inductees

 
The Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame has released the names of this year's inductees.
 
An official announcement is set to take place Wednesday in Portage la Prairie.
 
This year's inductees are agriculture journalist John Morriss (Winnipeg), Versatile co-founder Peter Pakosh (Winnipeg), and the late Bill and Fred Streich (Beausejour & Niverville) who came up with improvements to the way combines operate.
 
A ceremony will be held on June 18, 2108 at the Victoria Inn Winnipeg.

It's summertime in Minnesota as a yellow Air Tractor agricultural application aircraft -- a crop duster -- responds to the control inputs of its pilot in a low-altitude dance just above the tops of the cornstalks. Enjoy! And we found a Bell 206 Long Ranger spray helicopter perched on a support truck at the edge of the cornfields, and launching from there. In our video, you can occasionally hear the rotor sounds of the crop-dusting helicopter as we see the yellow Air Tractor in a nearby field.
