The United States observes National Agriculture Week March 17-24, 2024, with National Ag Day set for March 19, 2024.

The Agriculture Council of America coordinates this event that encourages every American to understand how food and fiber products are produced; appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant, and affordable products;

value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy and acknowledge and consider career opportunities in the agriculture, food, and fiber industry. Look for special events in communities across the country.

The American Angus Association 141st Annual Convention of Delegates gathered November 4, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. The delegation elected new officers; Jonathan Perry, Fayetteville, Tenn., president and chairman of the Board; and Jim Brinkley, Milan, Mo., vice president and vice chairman of the Board. Darrell Stevenson, White Sulphur Springs, Mont., will serve as the treasurer for the 2024-25 term.
