Range Beef Cow Symposium: Nov. 17-19, 2015

Producers attending the Range Beef Cow Symposium in November will hear leading experts and producers discussing markets, cattle reproduction, animal health, and current issues.
 
 
The symposium takes place November 17-19, 2015 at The Ranch, an event center on Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland, Colorado.

We look forward to having Duane Lenz, General Manager of Cattle-Fax, address the group on international aspects of the beef industry.  Mr. Lenz has been a Market Analyst at CattleFax since 1989 and works primarily with feedlots.
 
Good and bad weather impacts agriculture. Brian Bledsoe, KKTV Chief Meteorologist, will address impact of long-term weather patterns on grazing. Brian Bledsoe is a native of eastern Colorado and says combining weather and agriculture has always been a no-brainer. 
 
Cliff Lamb’s primary research efforts focus on applied reproductive physiology in cattle emphasizing synchronization of estrus in replacement heifers and postpartum cows. Dr. Lamb, will share synchronization research results that works with AI or natural service.
