Ritchie Brother Moves all Spring Farm Auctions Online

One of the biggest auction companies is announcing more temporary changes to its spring farm business because of the pandemic.

The Sales Director for Ritchie Brothers in Western Canada, Jordan Clark says all spring farm auctions will be conducted online only. He spoke with reporter Jim Smalley.

"As of yesterday, we decided to move all of our spring auction sales in March, April and May to an online-only bidding aspect. Typically, we were joint with online and onsite."

Their first sales will be in Regina on March 24, and on March 26 in Lethbridge. They have 58 farm auctions in March, April and May.

"All sales will be affected however it is not necessarily a change that will catch people off guard."
