Scoular Sells Edible Bean Business

The Scoular Company has announced that it has entered into an agreement to divest its edible bean business to Michigan-based Cooperative Elevator Co.
 
Scoular’s edible bean business includes processing plants in Morden and Plum Coulee.
 
There is also a plant in Minnesota and a pair of receiving stations in North Dakota.
 
Cooperative Elevator Co. is owned by 1,115 farmer producers and has been in business since 1915.
