Seeding has started across parts of southern Saskatchewan.
 
The regional crop specialist in Weyburn, Sherri Roberts, says farmers across a wide area of the southern grainbelt have started spring planting.
 
She says she saw seeding underway across a wide part of the southern grainbelt during the past week.
 
Roberts estimates seeding as high as 10 percent in parts of the southeast.
