Statement from Sollio & Avantis regarding the CNESST investigation report

The CNESST released its report on June 14 concerning the accident that caused the death of a worker at the Sainte-Hénédine seed, fertilizer and grain center on September 26, 2022. Out of respect for the family, people involved and our teams who have been deeply affected by the situation, the management of Sollio & Avantis Cooperative Agriculture will limit itself to this statement.

“We took note of the report and quickly implemented all the corrective measures. In addition to comprehensive training on existing lockout and confined space entry procedures for our silos, senior management proactively monitors, in collaboration with managers and employees, the health and safety action priorities that have been identified for the current year in each of our business segments. The health and safety of teammates remains our priority and that is why our actions aim to reduce risks as much as possible, to ensure that equipment is used with caution and to adequately train each employee to ensure their safety like that of his colleagues," said the general manager of Sollio & Avantis Cooperative Agriculture,
