Thanks For Farming Tour coming to Winkler

The Thanks For Farming Tour 2022 will be coming to Winkler's Meridian Exhibition Centre on July 27th and 28th.

The event runs from 8am to 5pm both days and features speakers covering topics such as marketing, mental health, and farm transition.

Jeremy Matuszewski is a member of the organizing committee.

"The whole vision behind the tour was, we wanted to find a way to connect with farmers. When COVID shut the world down, we wanted to find a way to connect with them and really to support them, say thank you to them for what they were doing and what they continue to do...We really wanted to try to support the agricultural communities across Canada.," he said. "We hope people come out. Obviously we appreciate those that work hard to feed the world and we just want to say thank you."
