The Holowaychuk family and the Century Farm and Ranch Award

Seventeen farm families are being honoured this week at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village with Century Farm and Ranch Awards. John and Steve Holowaychuk’s grandfather Steven arrived in Smoky Lake at the turn of the century, and their brother Dennis and his wife still live on the original homestead. Steve Holowaychuk says things have changed a lot from when he first started working on the farm.
