Viterra Acquires Full Ownership of Grain Facility at Northgate, North Dakota

Viterra USA LLC (“Viterra”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a purchase agreement to acquire General Mills’ 50 per cent ownership stake in a grain facility located at Northgate, North Dakota.  Previously, Viterra held a 50 per cent stake through a joint venture agreement with General Mills. The transaction has received all necessary approvals and closed today.

In addition to this facility Viterra’s presence in North Dakota includes special crops facilities in Ray and Minot, and a grain elevator at Grand Forks.
