Milking Machine
A milking machine is used to extract milk from dairy cows - the milking unit removes milk from the udder. The milking unit is made up of a"claw" an assembly that connects to pulse tubes from the "teatcups". The claws are typically made of stainless steel. Milking machines are powered by electricity. There are different types of milking systems, including: portable milking machines (20 cows), barn milking machines/tie stall (20-100 cows), or milking parlours (more than 100 cows). Milking machines are an essential piece of dairy equipment with lots of variations to choose from. Choosing the proper milking machine for your type of dairy operation is important.
