Peanut Combine
A peanut combine is a type of harvesting machine used for culling the peanut plant from its lighter soil and placing it in a windrow for eventual picking by a picking and threshing machine. The peanut harvester is most effective on lighter soils. As the machine makes its way along a row, it will cut plants out with two large blades that are moved by a soil layer at the center of the machine. This process works in combination with a medium-power tractor and will dig up bushes, two rows at a time with a space of 70 centimetres between rows. The peanut combine can generate an output of 0.9 hectors per hour.
