Swathers for Sale

A swather is a tractor attachment or self-propelled piece of equipment that cuts hay, forming it into windrows. The swathers are not generally used for harvesting grain as it would knock the grain out of the heads. Swathers are also known to be called a windrower in Australia and other parts of the world. The machine works by using a sickle bar to cut the stems, and then a conveyor or auger will take the crop and place it into a windrow for drying or bailing.
