Oklahoma City to Host Premier Youth Ag Leadership Event

The Oklahoma Farm Bureau (OKFB) is welcoming applications for its annual Oklahoma Youth Leading Agriculture (OYLA) conference, set to take place from May 27-30, 2025, in Oklahoma City. This event is tailored for high school juniors with a keen interest in the agricultural sector.

The OYLA conference is designed to expand the knowledge and skills of young agriculture enthusiasts through a mix of practical activities, farm visits, leadership exercises, and talks by industry leaders. The program is crafted to inspire and prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Applicants must provide details of their leadership roles, academic records, standardized test scores, GPA, and a brief essay describing their top leadership experience. All submissions must be accompanied by a school official’s signature and meet the April 15 deadline.

A participation fee of $100 is required for attendees, covering lodging and conference activities, with students supervised by OKFB staff and advisors throughout the event.
