6 Scary Farm Stories

Elvey Farm

Elvey Farm

Elvey Farm was built in 1406, in the U.K. village of Pluckley, which the Guinness Book of World Records deemed the most haunted village in England in 1998.

Stories from Elvey Farm include hearing the foosteps of Robert Du Bois, a highwayman who preyed on local villagers.

Another tale from the farm includes visitors hearing a voice say "I will do it."

The voice is that of Edwart Brett, who owned the farm in 1900. He apparently said those words to himself, walked to the old dairy barn and took his own life. His spirit remains on the farm.

Elvey Farm has since been transformed into an upscale country hotel.
