Case IH equipment highlights recent equipment auction

The five pieces of machinery with the highest sale prices all had red paint

Buyers during an Oct. 5 BigIron auction saw red as the five pieces of equipment to receive the highest sale prices that day, out of 1,603 total items, were all Case IH.

A 2009 Case IH Magnum 215 MFWD tractor from Hiawatha, Kan., sold for the highest price at the Oct. 5 auction.

The tractor sold for US$124,000 (CAD$169,716) to a buyer from Illinois after 262 bids.

Specs: 2,674 hours, 6-Cylinder Diesel Engine, CVT, 1000 PTO, 3-Point, Quick Hitch, Outside 3-Point Controls, (4) Rear Hydraulic Outlets, Duals, 480/80R46 Rear Tires, 380/85R24 Front Tires, (6) Front Weights, Air Ride Seat, Heated Seat, Heat, A/C, Radio, Buddy Seat.

A 2015 Case IH Patriot 4440 sprayer from Winfield, Kan., sold for US$122,250 (CAD$167,303) to a buyer from Texas after 283 bids.

Specs: 3,234 hours, Case IH 8.7 Liter 6-Cyl Turbo Diesel Engine, Infinite Variable Hydrostatic Transmission, 1200 Gallon Stainless Solution Tank, Rinse Tank, Chemical Inductor Tank, 100’ Booms, 20” 5 Way Nozzle Spacing, Coil Over Shock Suspension, DICKEY-john Radar, Boom Shut Off/ Section Control, Heat, A/C, Tilt Column, Voyager Rear Camera With Display, Raven Color Touch Screen Monitor, AM-FM-CD Stereo, Trainers Seat With Storage Area, Tires- 380/90R46.

A 2010 Case IH 8120 combine from Schuyler, Neb., sold for US$88,250 (CAD$120.825) to a buyer from North Dakota after 165 bids.

A 2002 Case IH MX240 MFWD tractor from Oakley, Kan., sold for US$63,250 (CAD$86,615) to a buyer from New York after 149 bids.

A 1995 Case IH 7240 Magnum MFWD tractor from Hastings, Neb., sold for US$57,000 (CAD$78,040) to a buyer from South Dakota after 154 bids.
